6th Multi-stakeholder Conference
The 6th multi-stakeholder conference was held in Ohrid on 14-15 November 2018 by the Drin Core Group with the assistance of its Secretariat (GWP-Med), and the support of the GEF Drin Project and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) supported Project “Promoting the sustainable management of Natural resources in Southeast Europe through the use of the Nexus approach”. It brought together over 120 participants.
The stakeholders were updated and provided input on past and planned actions undertaken for the implementation of the MoU.
Further, the event:
- was used to present and discuss the Drin Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis and the Causal Chain analysis and
- provided a forum for the stakeholders to discuss the Water-Food-Energy- Ecosystems Nexus interlinkages and identify those that are of importance. Doing so the Conference served as a Nexus Policy Dialogue in the Drin Basin.
